An Hour with Organist Kit Perona-Wright (& Guests!)

King's Counterpoint is excited to welcome visiting organist Kit Perona-Wright for an afternoon recital this August!

Dr. Perona-Wright is an accomplished British organist and pianist, holding a Master’s degree in English Cathedral Music & Liturgy, along with a first-class music degree with a Dean’s commendation for academic excellence from Exeter University. An experienced concert and church musician, Kit is the Organist and Choirmaster at St. Peter's Church, Leckhampton, Gloucestershire, England, and holds diplomas in choral direction and organ playing from the Royal College of Organists, is a member of the Royal Society of Musicians, and holds a Fellowship diploma from the London College of Music.

Sunday's program will be held at Charleston's historic Old St. Andrew's Parish Church, and the afternoon's program will include an incredible selection of organ and piano works by Verdi, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Purcell, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Dubois. He will be joined by special guests, sopranos Emma Perona-Wright and Judith Acres, performing solos and duets by Handel, Purcell and Vivaldi.

This is a FREWILL OFFERING event: Tickets are not required, and donations will be gratefully accepted.
