About the Event
Join The Men of The King's Counterpoint as they present a very special Service of Choral Evensong at historic Old St. Andrew's Parish Church in Charleston.
A predominantly sung service that's held daily in the English Anglican tradition, Evensong is believed to be descended from the traditions and practices of the medieval monastic offices of the Roman church and marks the passing of another day in faith. Only about 45 minutes long and featuring choral music, readings and prayers, Evensong has inspired compositions from some of the finest composers of choral music in history.
We hope you'll join us for this very special service as we introduce our Men's Ensemble Cantores Regis - the newest members of the KCP 'family' of ensembles!
