Late in the summer of 2023, Judith and David Acres formed a men's ensemble to sing for a special Evensong Service. Though originally intended to be a one-off appearance, the warm, rich sound of the men of King's Counterpoint, combined with their wonderful musicality, resulted in repeated and enthusiastic requests from the community for more performances.

The result is the newest vocal ensemble in the Counterpoint family - Regis Homines (The King's Men). 
 

Regis Homines made their official debut as a standalone ensemble in August, 2024, and continues to be featured as one of The King's Counterpoint's premiere chamber ensembles, performing works designed to highlight the incredible richness of men's voices. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to 'show off' the men of KCP - some of the finest men's voices around!
