ESTHER is truly a Baroque Masterpiece! In this compelling and intimate musical drama, the Baroque’s master storyteller George Frideric Handel (1685-1759) tells the story of ESTHER, the Jewish orphan who becomes Queen of Persia and saves her people from massacre by the villain Haman. Don’t miss this wonderful tale of a truly triumphant heroine, told in dramatic arias and incomparable choruses!
