
JEREMIAH REID
Bass
Jeremiah Reid, bass, is a recent graduate of Berkeley Center of the Arts housed at Goose Creek High School, where he studied choral/vocal performance under Emily Reeves Bohl and John Stoudenmire. While at BCA, Jeremiah was accepted into honor choirs such as the South Carolina All-State Chorus (2024), the Wingate All-Carolina Chorus (2022), and the Berkeley County All-County Chorus (2022, 2023, 2024). Jeremiah was a four year member of the award winning mixed-voice ensemble Goose Creek High School Chamber Choir (2020-2024), where he served as the bass section leader during his senior year. He is also a founding member of Goose Creek’s vocal jazz ensemble “Creekappella” (2021-2024).
Jeremiah is currently studying Choral Music Education at Furman University, where he is a Bell Tower Scholar and a recipient of the Presidential Music Scholarship. He is a member of the Furman Singers and the Furman Chamber Choir. Jeremiah studies voice with Dr. Craig Price. He is currently a hired section leader at Open Hearts United Methodist Church.
