A native of Pennsylvania, Madelaine Beckford (Mezzo Soprano) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music from Franciscan University and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from the Catholic University of America. As a soloist and choral performer, Madelaine has been featured in vocal ensembles both academic and professional, and her voice has also graced the operatic stage in productions with the Maryland Lyric Opera, and CUA Opera Theatre. While functioning as the Music Director for Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church on Daniel Island, she likes to remain active performing around the Charleston area, featuring often as a choral soloist, organist, accompanist, and conductor in various professional and amateur functions. She additionally provides musical aid as an educator at Christ our King Stella Maris School, and liturgical accompanist for Bishop England High School.
